IN7 Rummy

A how-to note describes IN7 Rummy as standard 13-card Indian rummy. Each player is dealt 13 cards. Sets are three or more of the same rank. Sequences are three or more consecutive cards of the same suit. At least one pure sequence, made with no joker, is required before a declare. The first valid declare wins the pot. The brand page does not name this room.

What the how-to note actually requires

Thirteen cards each. A set is three or more cards of the same rank. A sequence is three or more consecutive cards of the same suit. A pure sequence uses no joker. The note says at least one pure sequence is mandatory before you can declare. The first valid declare wins the pot.

Other players then pay points on cards that were not melded. That point total is capped at 80. Dropping early limits the loss to 20 points. The note times a round at 6 to 8 minutes. A separate rummy write-up in the same public record describes the turn as draw one, arrange, discard one.

The turn, from the rummy write-up

  1. Draw one card from the closed deck or the open discard.
  2. Arrange the hand into sequences and sets.
  3. Discard one card.
  4. Declare only when the groups meet the conditions, including one pure sequence.

A joker can stand in for a missing card in an impure sequence. It does not make a pure sequence, and it does not make every group valid. The write-up names the suits Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, and Spades, and the ranks Ace through King. It says Ace can be used in more than one way depending on the table, so this page does not pick one Ace rule.

Points, as that write-up usually counts them

Ace, King, Queen, JackUsually 10 points each
Number cardsFace value
JokersUsually zero
Unmelded cap on the how-to note80 points
Early drop20 points
DeckUsually 52 cards; one or two decks plus jokers, depending on the players

The how-to note prints stake amounts for cash rooms. Those amounts are not copied here. Practice coins on that note are demo coins and do not convert.
